Gary Carpenter’s background includes thirty years of technological and business systems development. For the last fifteen years, he has been the owner of an international technology consulting firm specializing in business start-ups, business plans, modeling, leadership and temporary transitional management. The background for this consulting came as a senior management executive with Digital Equipment Corporation, where he was tasked with developing small businesses within the company.

While working at Digital, Gary realized that business owners need to evaluate their numbers on a monthly, rather than a quarterly, basis. He developed an operations package for small businesses to know exactly where their finances are so they can make decisions based on a true financial environment instead of a budget "guesstimate." This software, which was tested in the healthcare industry and modified for application in any business, is the basis for Tracker’s forecasting system.

Gary’s experiences working at Digital and consulting with SUN Microsystems, TRW (branches in Detroit, Germany, and Cleveland), CBS, Nielsen and DiscoverWhy, have allowed him to observe and adapt big business’ success to any business environment. He understands the total business scenario and knows how to apply practical solutions. Gary knows when and how to apply technology to increase productivity and enjoys evaluating the entire business picture in determining the best solutions from a systems, technology and operations standpoint.
